Prohibition Agents Layton and Jordan, armed with a search warrant, visited a home at Eightieth street and Cobbs Creek, in Delaware County, yesterday and were greeted by five rather vicious looking bulldogs.

    Also, what years do the adovcates place the pit bull's popularity. Almost every decade since their existence seems to be riddled with negative press more than good.

  2. as for the years of popularity, your guess is as good as mine. the era of pit bull popularity is flexible, it really depends on which advocate is spewing the nonsense but the stubby (ww1) and the petey years seems to be a good bet. there were a few peteys but the most popular one, bred from a famous colby fighter was born in 1929.
