Harry S Lucenay

Harry S Lucenay

May 8, 1887 - May 28, 1944

The owner and trainer of the dogs who portrayed Pete in the Little Rascals died at the age of 57. After a long night of a low stakes poker game, Lucenay grabbed and twisted the arm of 71 year old Charles Z. Bailey and accused him of cheating. Bailey claimed that Lucenay "was going to beat him up" so he pulled a gun and shot him in the arm. Bailey stated that Lucenay "kept coming" so he fired again. The second bullet hit Lucenay's heart and he died.

* The Calgary Herald lists Lucenay's age at 47, yet Find A Grave Memorial lists his age at 57.

The man responsible for killing Lucenay was a decorated soldier and a famous California panoramic photographer.

Thanks to the Mc Donald's ad Cesar has decided it's time to flood the airways about pit bulls and how amazing they are compared to all other dog breeds. Why else would he dedicate so much time boosting the rep of pit bulls when other breeds are just as "discriminated against." Maybe he knows that the nutters are so insecure about their pitties and are willing to be reassured that they've made a good choice that they will believe anything.

Of course he mentions Tige and where would we be without exploiting the suicide of Nick Santino as "pit bull prejudice?"

A lot of people seem to be getting most of their information about pit bulls on social networking sites like facebook, maybe you should do the same? You would reach a wider audience and educate far more people.

If you want to avoid the nutters clogging your facebook. Make your facebook a fan page and change the settings so only you can post on there.

You want to talk about insane rantings, that's all I've seen on your little blog. Where exactly do you get your information anyway? Keep on believing what you want. Everyone has their opinion about pits. I suppose you can have your delusional opinion of them too.

pit bulls can be just as nice & friendly as ANY breed....its The owners who are sometimes "brain dead" that ruin them and make them fighters. These people probably have very little dicks
